A Caller ID is the number displayed on a phone when a call is made. The recipient of your call will see a number, and that number they see can be configured on 2Chat.

Configuration

To add, remove, or edit a caller ID, go to Channels > Caller ID.

There are 3 options for selecting a caller ID.

Virtual number

When you buy a virtual number, you'll be able to use that number as an ID. Learn how to buy one here.

WhatsApp connections

When you connect a WhatsApp number, that number can be used to make calls and display it as the caller ID. Learn how to connect your WhatsApp number here.

Manual verification

You can manually enter a number you want to display as the caller-ID of your outbound calls, with the only condition that it must belong to you or your company. This number will be validated by 2Chat before you can use it.
