The Setup Wizard guides you through connecting your WhatsApp Business API channel to 2Chat in a few simple steps. The wizard launches automatically when a new channel is added or when an existing channel needs to be activated.
Step 1 — Connect your number
2Chat will verify your phone number in the background. You will see a progress indicator as the verification completes. Once finished, your number will appear as ready to activate.
Step 2 — Activate the channel
This step configures the webhooks required for your channel to receive and send messages. The activation runs automatically — no additional input is needed. Wait for the confirmation before moving to the next step.
Step 3 — Sync templates
Any existing templates associated with your WhatsApp Business account will be imported into 2Chat. If you do not have templates yet, you can skip this step and create them later from the Templates tab in your channel settings.
Step 4 — Enable bulk messaging
This step activates bulk messaging capability for your channel.
This step only applies to Gupshup-based channels. If you connected your channel directly through Meta, this step will not appear.
Once all steps are complete, your channel is ready to use. You can start sending and receiving WhatsApp Business messages from 2Chat.
