How are WhatsApp connections billed?

Learn how 2Chat charges for extra WhatsApp connections

Each 2Chat plan comes with a predefined space for WhatsApp connections. For example, the Basic plan has 1 connection included, and extra connections are charged $20 per unit.

This article applies to regular WhatsApp connections using QR codes. WhatsApp Business API connections are not charged.

When you connect a WhatsApp account that falls outside of your plan, the system will charge you the full predefined price for that extra connection.

If you delete the number, disconnect it manually, or if WhatsApp logs you out, 2Chat will refund the unused time as credit to your next invoice.

For example, if you were charged $20 for the extra connection, and on day 15 of the month you decide to delete the number, 2Chat will refund you $10, which corresponds to 15 days or the amount of time the number was not used.

If you added a connection and decided to delete it the same day it was added, 2Chat will refund the remaining 29 days as credit to your next invoice.

Keep in mind that charges are non-refundable to your card, but you will always get a refund for unused connection time as credit to your next invoice. You will always only pay for the time the number remained connected.
