One of the most common reasons for degraded call quality is the internet
connection.
Even if your connection appears stable, heavy usage or multiple devices connected to the same network can cause some devices to receive less bandwidth than needed for optimal calling performance with the 2Chat tools.
To help optimize this, we can review your connection routes and providers to ensure your team gets the best call quality possible.
Please run the following tests and share the results with our support team:
Also tell us what type of headset or earphones you’re using for the calls.
1. Click the Site Settings Icon
At the top left of the address bar, click the settings icon (the one shown in the first screenshot).
This opens the permissions menu for the website you’re currently on.
2. Open the Microphone Settings
In the menu that appears (as shown in the second screenshot):
Look for “Microphone”.
Make sure microphone access is enabled (the toggle should be purple/on).
Then click the arrow next to “Microphone” to open the detailed audio settings
3. Choose the Correct Microphone.
You will now see a list of all available audio input devices (like in the third screenshot).
From here:
Click the dropdown menu.
Select the microphone or headset you want to use — for example, Jabra Evolve2 65 Flex, MacBook Pro Microphone, or your iPhone Microphone if connected.
Make sure the correct one is selected so the website uses the right device during calls.
