If WhatsApp messages are not appearing in your Slack channel, follow these steps to identify and resolve the issue.
1. Check the status of your Slack integration
Go to Integrations → Slack in 2Chat and verify that the integration shows as Connected. If it appears as disconnected, click Reconnect to restore the link.
2. Verify the 2Chat bot is in the Slack channel
The 2Chat bot must be a member of the Slack channel where messages should appear. In Slack, open the channel and type @2Chat. If the app is not a member, invite it by clicking the app name and selecting Add to channel.
3. Check your WhatsApp connection in 2Chat
Go to Channels in 2Chat and verify that the WhatsApp number associated with your Slack integration shows as Connected. A disconnected WhatsApp number will stop messages from being forwarded to Slack.
4. Verify the chat-to-channel mapping
Go to Integrations → Slack and review the list of configured mappings. Make sure the WhatsApp chat or group you are expecting messages from is mapped to the correct Slack channel. If the Slack channel was deleted and recreated, you will need to update the mapping.
If the issue persists after following all steps above, try disconnecting and reconnecting the Slack integration. This forces a full re-sync of the configuration.
